Important Update
The Building Safety Regulator (BSR) has confirmed that it will be a legal requirement for a Principal Accountable Person (PAP) to have a Safety Case Report in place as of October 1st 2023. The report may not get called in for assessment until April 2024. However, by law, it must be in place by September 31st. Such information will be required if a building has an incident between October 2023 and April 2024. The Principal Accountable Person (PAP) will be committing an offence if the report is not present in the event of an emergency or disaster.
